The Guides 2

This new painting is called the "The Guides 2" with a strange elk/reindeer creature. It is 24" x 30" acrylic painting on canvas. Available in my Etsy shop here for five hundred plus shipping or at my gallery Bork and Watkins Gallery 149 W. 1st St. in downtown Salida, CO.

Small Surreal/Fantasy Paintings

These are some of my new 8" x 8" surreal and fantasy paintings called "Goodlands", "Guides 2", "Small", "Healing", and "Cave"  I will be doing more of these and larger sizes of some of them. Most of these are available on my Etsy, but "Healing" and "Cave" are sold.

The Realization

Above is my new painting "The Realization" for my show "Mind Travels". It is 30" x 24" acrylic on canvas.
My art show will be at Valkarie Gallery in Lakewood, Colorado (A Denver neighborhood). I will be a guest artist at Valkarie October 3rd to the 28th. The opening where I will be present starts 5 pm and ends at 9:30 pm on October 5th. I will be calling my exhibition "Mind Travels: New Work by Karen Watkins".

Drawings for Paintings

Preview Show

I will have two paintings at Valkarie Gallery's preview show this month near Denver. The reception is 5pm to 8:30pm on January 20th.
