The Guides 2

This new painting is called the "The Guides 2" with a strange elk/reindeer creature. It is 24" x 30" acrylic painting on canvas. Available in my Etsy shop here for five hundred plus shipping or at my gallery Bork and Watkins Gallery 149 W. 1st St. in downtown Salida, CO.

Small Surreal/Fantasy Paintings

These are some of my new 8" x 8" surreal and fantasy paintings called "Goodlands", "Guides 2", "Small", "Healing", and "Cave"  I will be doing more of these and larger sizes of some of them. Most of these are available on my Etsy, but "Healing" and "Cave" are sold.

Shroud

These last couple of months I have mostly been painting for my September exhibit called Alterations. This is my fifth painting for my guest spot art show at Valkarie Gallery near Denver in September. I will be present at the reception at 5pm on September 6th and the show will be on display for most of of the month. I hope to see you there!

This one is called "Shroud" and is 20 " x 16" acrylic painting on canvas. All six of the paintings will be inspired by carousel animals. The last one will be posted tomorrow!

The Power

Mixed Media Painting "Forest Deep"

This is my new painting mixed with needle felted on a cut wood. This one is called "Deep Forest" and it is ready to hang on the wall. The felted creatures are not attached to move them around their little world. This is available in my Etsy shop or at my real gallery here.

Art Book

This is my first and new portfolio art book! These are my "pop surrealism" paintings from 2012 to 2018. The book contains 26 paintings on 12 thick quality pages and is 8"x 8".

Moving Tower

Above is my new painting "Moving Tower" for my show "Mind Travels". It is 30" x 20" acrylic on canvas.
My art show will be at Valkarie Gallery in Lakewood, Colorado (A Denver neighborhood). I will be a guest artist at Valkarie October 3rd to the 28th. The opening where I will be present starts 5 pm and ends at 9:30 pm on October 5th. I will be calling my exhibition "Mind Travels: New Work by Karen Watkins".
