The Guides

I am excited about my new mixed media series involving my needle felting and painting. "The Guides" is the first of this series. It is a acrylic painting wrapped and felted with roving to form an image. I am hoping to make 10 more like this this year. This is met to hang on walls and the size of this one is 13" x 7". This piece is available here on my Etsy.

The Spring

"The Spring" is my newest painting for my art exhibition in October 2018. It is 30" x 30" acrylic on canvas.

My art show will be at Valkarie Gallery in Lakewood, Colorado (A Denver neighborhood). I will be a guest artist at Valkarie October 3rd to the 28th. The opening where I will be present starts 5 pm and ends at 9:30 pm on October 5th. I will be calling my exhibition "Mind Travels: New Work by Karen Watkins".
