New Sign

I finally have a new sign for myself at our gallery in Salida, Colorado. This last year I have sold a ton of art at my husband Carl Bork and I's gallery and decided that I needed a sign in front too. I wasn't sure if I had a market for my art in Salida like Carl did three years ago but I am glad that I was proven wrong. I also hand painted this sign.

Salida Artwalk June 28-30, 2013

This weekend from Friday - Sunday is the annual Art Walk in Salida, Colorado. All galleries, shops and restaurants will be showing new work by local artists. There will be much food, music and entertainment going on during the weekend event.

At Carl Bork Studio - Gallery and Karen Watkins Art and Handmade) on 1st and G, musician Cody Wayne and Carl Bork will be back at it again by doing a live art show on Saturday night from 6-9 pm. Carl will be doing a large 30x40 canvas from start to finish in less than 3 hours to the music of Cody Wayne.
