I hope everyone is having a great holiday season! This is unfortunately my last sketch of the week. I hope all the readers out there have enjoyed the sketches. They are kind of a hassle for me to post every week since I have to go to a second location to scan the drawings. I hope you will continue to check my blog for all future art, exhibitions, etc.

Anyways, the sketch of the week this week is a long legged bird. I am using this sketch for a future painting.

Holiday Handmade 2011

I am happy to announce that I will be a part of Fancy Tiger's Holiday Handmade 2011. Holiday Handmade is Denver's biggest alternative craft fair and all the vendors are from Colorado. There are 60 plus vendors at this year's event and half are veterans (me) and half are newbies so it will probably be even better then last year. I will post the image for the event soon!

Colorado Mountain Plein Air Festival

This year my husband Carl Bork and I participated in Colorado Mountain Plein Air Festival. Carl plein air (outdoor painting) paints professionally. I really only plein air paint for fun and practice. Also here in the mountains by Salida the colors are starting to change especially the aspen trees so it is very lovely. Here are some pictures from this week.
